winner of 2008!
Delgado creation features another Bay Area champion
shown in the background, legendary Seabiscuit. This is Lincecum
favorite nickname and was first used to describe his unusual stretch when he played even back in High School.
Seabiscuit is one of racing's greatest champions and
was part of the duo race against War Admiral, the greatest
race of last century, in which Seabiscuit won by over 4 lengths.

Delgado was selected to paint one of the 15 large 10" inch diameter
baseball sculptures that will be put on auction starting this Wednesday though September 28 at ATT Park. The funds raised
from the auction are to be donated to the San Francisco Community Fund.

greatest athlete referred as"Big Red", Secretariat.
Originally commissioned by a collector in Canada. This exquisite
acrylic work captures this champion remarkable strengh and determination which inspired
a generation. He's most noted victory occurred in the Belmont, the final stage of the Triple Crown, in which he won by demolishing
the competition by 31 lenghts!
